The New and Living Way - Witness of Ahnsahnghong

Nowadays, people follow God so that they can have better physical lives. They hope for a better job, a better car, more money, maybe a better looking partner, etc. But I just saw through the Bible how it was the same 2,000 years ago.

Jn 6:9 Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?"

Jesus's disciples were trying to figure out how they could feed 5,000 people with such a small amount of food.

Jn 6:11 Jesus then took the loaves,gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.

Jn 6:14 After the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus did, they began to say, "surely this is the prophet who is to come into the world." Jesus, knowing that they intended to come and make him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by himself.

So these people who never believed in Jesus before, all of a sudden wanted to make him King because he fed them! Is that true faith? Let's see how they reacted when he spoke of eternal life.

Jn 6:35 Then Jesus declared, " I am the bread of life, He who comes to me will never go hungry...6:54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Jn 6:60 On hearing it, many of his disciples said, " This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?"
So, they were ok when he did the physical miracle of turning 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish into enough food for 5,000 but when he spoke of a true miracle having eternal life through the Passover, they couldnt accept! Are these true disciples who only stuck with Jesus when it was convenient for them? No way, the whole purpose of his coming was to save us from death!

Its the same now.. Christ AhnSahngHong came to save us from death, He is prophecied all throughout the Bible. Yet, although he came to show us the way to heaven, people refuse him..why? Because many insist on seeing miracles or are too caught up with physical things..They only want God for their physical gratification..Is that true faith?

Jn 6:58 Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever."
2,000 years ago Jesus Christ said this to the crowd and when second coming Christ came, Christ AhnSahngHong, He also said it. Christ AhnSahngHong said eating the Passover is a true miracle. How amazing is that! Even just reading this verse I get chills! By eating the bread and wine of the Passover we can live forever! I am sorry but i'd much rather have that than some bread and fish or any other physical thing for that matter! So if Christ offers us eternal life, how should we answer?

Jn 6:68 Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life."

Christ AhnSahngHong brought the words of eternal life! To whom else shall we go? To no one else but Him! If you want to know, then study the Bible at Church of God World Mission Society...

So I decided to go to the mall today thinking that it wouldn't be packed since it was already after 9:00pm. But when I got there it was a madhouse! Then I thought, why is it so busy on a Monday night? Ohhhh, now I remember. Its that time of the year again where everyone is doing their Christmas shopping! Tis the season to be jolly, right? Hmm, I used to think that way. Until I came to Church of God World Mission Society and learned what Christmas was really all about.

Here' s some interesting info I found in a book called " The Christian Calendar"

"The strongest reason for the choice of this date in the Western Church,however, was doubtless because of the pagan association of the day and the desire of the Church to persuade people to replace these by Christian observances. In Rome, 25 December was the feast of the birth of the Unconquered Sun, which commemorated the winter solstice, when the days began to get lighter. The Church replaced this celebration of the birth of the ' Sun of Righteousness' and the coming of the ' Light of the World." The festivities accompanying Christmas are also thought to come from another pagan Roman festival held mid-December."

So, while the whole world is celebrating Christmas and most Christians are under the impression that they are celebrating the "birth" of Jesus Christ, they are really celebrating the birth of the Sun God! Ok, Constantine tricked people into worshipping God on Sunday, which made us inadvertently worship the sun god, and now people are commemorating his birthday! Although some people say that its ok to celebrate Jesus' birthday on Christmas as long as were remembering him lets see what God says....

Dt 12:31 You must not worship the LORD you God in Their way."

Clearly God distinguishes between His way, and the peoples way. Who's way should we follow?
I know I want to follow God's way!

Amos 5:21 I despise your religious feasts. I cannot stand your assemblies."

Why does God say Your assemblies? Because they are not God's assemblies! Besides this, there is so much more about Christmas but not enough time to write it all..We easily follow a holiday that we had no idea about just because someone told us it was about Christ...Then what about the true teaching of God? How much more should we listen to the truth! Christ AhnSahngHong, second coming Christ, came in this last age to reveal to His children the truth and to turn away from the lies we have been following. Please, if you want to follow correctly then study about Christ AhnSahngHong through the Bible!
